Now take 2 slices away and ask him to count the rest of the slices. There would be 6 out of 8 slices left. This means that fraction of the pizza in the box is 6/8 and in your hand is 2/8. Now, you can explain the child about the while concept of fraction.

Repeat this game as many times as you are needed to.  Don’t get irritated if the child doesn’t understand the concept quickly as it will only discourage the child and he won’t be able to ask any relevant questions. Besides such games, you can also buy a ready-made math game from the market. Such games may be in the form of a puzzle or board game that a child can play and learn. But make sure that the packaging and playing method of the game suits your child as the whole purpose of getting a fun math game is to make a child want to study math.
