Some people may think that I am over doing this topic. Even though this may be slightly true I still happen to think that the best way to help anyone make head way through the various methods of helping their children mathematically is by continuously drilling this information in. They need to know these and so do you.
There are many places that you as a parent can find fun math games for your children starting on websites and moving towards other mediums to get the desired result. The bottom line really is to ensure that you are helping the child and that the child is learning everything possible in a fun way.
If you child loses interest don’t give up. Find another way as many children will find different ways of learning things more appealing than others.
Don’t force them to learn what they don’t want too. Instead make it seem as though it all is just a game, something fun. They will learn without even knowing that they are learning.
Get them some company. Having their friends around will keep them even more intrigued in the games that they are playing. They will try to compete with the other kids and having them build a competitive edge is a good thing within reason.
Keeping them in suspense and intriguing them using various methods is also good practice on your part. Always keep an eye out on what they are learning and keep tabs on their progress. Remember to increase their overall difficulty of the games as time passers and they become better suited to better games.
You will see the difference in your children and believe me, this works. Just keeping them occupied with games that educate them n math really goes a far way towards securing your child’s intelligence in math.
Good luck!
