In recent times the number based puzzles such as Sudoku and Kakuro has become popular in the world. The most popular of all the number based puzzles is Sudoku. It is a grid based number puzzle. The aim is to fill each row, column and sub grid with numbers one through nine. The rule of the puzzle is that the numbers should appear only once in the row, column and sub grid. Certain numbers are placed in the squares to help the person to solve this puzzle. The difficulty of the puzzle will depend upon the number of freebie numbers given and their location. 

It was originally invented by an American named Howard Garns, who named it as “Number Place”. It is a misconception that the Japanese had invented this puzzle. It was more popular in Japan before this number puzzle made its waves across the world.

Solving the Sudoku puzzles will turn out into a great activity for our kids. The Sudoku puzzle will help the child to develop the number sense in the early stages of their development. In math, practice is the essential thing to success. At the same time, this practice should not be draining out all energy of the brain.
